We have a VW T6 Tourer and we had some projects (alterations/additions) that we were thinking of having done. We thought that we would find some businesses at the show that would be able to discuss these with. Disappointingly, for those businesses that we did find and visit, there wasn't much of a positive reception to us wanting to discuss or explore options with their representatives. It was more a case of providing a "discounted" quote with a deadline date to secure the discount and away you go. How fortunate it was then, that we, by chance, found the Motabars stand. Firstly, they were more than happy to listen to our thoughts and plans. There was no big sales push. They advised us what they could help us with and gave us some potential alternatives to consider. Nicola, the representative we spoke to, was really helpful. We quickly became confident that Motabars were the business that could help us work towards getting our alterations/add ons actioned. It was a bonus that they are based just over an hour away from us whereas the other businesses we visited would have meant a 2/3 hour plus drive. We left having agreed that we would make contact to meet further and discuss options with them. We visited the Motabars business soon after and this resulted in them providing a detailed plan of the various options available to us, together with a comprehensive and competitive pricing for those options. As a result of this, we recently engaged Motabars to start work on some of our projects. They have a well contained unit, very clean unit and their team are extremely knowledgeable, have high standards and professional in their approach to their work. We were shown the completed works and were given a demonstration on the new equipment that was fitted. Everything was left clean and tidy. Work was done to my satisfaction , although when I went to collect the vehicle I had to wait 3/4 hr as they had another vehicle stuck in front of it. Motobar fitted a Tow A Frame and Smart Box Duo to my Kia Picanto. They did an excellent job and when completed the handover was really good and explained everything I needed to know. I have only towed it about 30 miles so far but found the frame and breaking system work very well.
